The past few weeks for

[dis]ABLE have been a whirlwind to say the least. We’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign to grow and expand the business, made a push to participate in more community events, and have been gearing up for a [dis]ABLE road show starting this week! It’s been an amazing experience getting out and connecting with members of the [dis]ABLE Movement, and especially exciting that none of it is going unnoticed. Our Kickstarter campaign kicked off with a story in the Delaware County Daily Times, a local paper serving the community Eddie Doyle, my partner in crime, hails from, and continued to receive media attention from The Philadelphia Inquirer and the morning show on Fox 29, Good Day Philadelphia. And while many are just being introduced to [dis]ABLE for the first time as a result of the media coverage, it’s been an extremely rewarding experience seeing [dis]ABLE evolve.

What began as a social media campaign to spread my story and philosophy has become a story of stories and a lifestyle. Everywhere I go I meet people who are inspired and relate to our mission in different ways. Some people find motivation in [dis]ABLE when they’re playing competitive sports or exercising; some people are inspired as they battle disease or addiction; and others wear their wristband day in and day out just to remind them during those tough days that they can get through it. Each person who disables their limits and lives the [dis]ABLE lifestyle makes up our collective story. It’s not about me anymore; it’s about us.

Going forward we will continue to push our message, but we also realize the strength of [dis]ABLE is only as strong as the will in each and every one of us to disable our limits. That is why the potential for [dis]ABLE is limitless. As people, we ALL have the choice to disable our limits. And as the Movement grows, so will our story. If you’d like to be a part of the story and support the Movement, you can make a pledge via our Kickstarter page and get some [dis]ABLE gear. Make the choice. Disable your limits.
