About the author
Jimmy Curran
Jimmy is the Philadelphia-based author of Will the One-Winged Eagle, written and illustrated by two guys with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. The book teaches kids self-acceptance, acceptance of others with disabilities, and persistence in the face of adversity.
In 2019 he was featured in Comcast’s X1 eye control campaign as one of the first customers to use the eye-gaze remote. He has also facilitated a corporate storytelling event at Independence Blue Cross. He works full-time at Independence Blue Cross and lives independently in Center City Philadelphia.
